Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) Founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has instructed party leaders to show a member of the National Assembly (MNA) Sher Afzal Marwat of the party, Express News reported Wednesday.
PTI management has decided to revoke Marwat’s basic membership following complaints from senior leaders regarding his behavior at a recent demonstration in Swabi.
Imran Khan has reportedly instructed Key Party to continue with Marwat’s deportation and a formal review is expected soon. In addition, the party is set to demand his resignation from the National Assembly.
The decision follows internal dissatisfaction with Marwat’s actions during the Swabi collection, which gets more complaints to Imran Khan from party members.
PTI is expected to make an official notice of deportation soon.
Last month, PTI had released a show to Sher Afzal Marwat for violation of party discipline.
In a message, the PTI management reprimanded Party leader Sher Afzal Marwat, known for his fiery oratorium, to make statements as opposed to the party’s official attitude.
In addition, Marwat was forbidden to represent the party in the media until he submitted a response to the message of the show reason. Show Cause -Message was released by PTI’s additional Secretary General, Firdous Shamim Naqvi.
The message, which was issued under the leadership of PTI chairman Imran Khan, stated that Sher Afzal Marwat had previously violated party politics and made statements without careful consideration. He has been given seven days to submit his reply.
