Imran Khan willing to talk to decision makers: Ali Amin Gandapur

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur said former Prime Minister Imran Khan is ready to participate in conversations with the country’s decision makers for the sake of Pakistan.

In a press conference in Lahore, Gandapur Jui-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman accused of being a “hypocrite” in which he claimed he is still in line with the establishment despite public criticism.

KP CM said the PTI-led movement has already begun on IMRAN’s instructions and would reach its peak before August 5th. “A new strategy will be announced after that,” he said, adding that the nation has aroused politically.

Gandapur claimed that PTI supporters were subjected to torture after May 9 and that a renewed “fascist campaign” is underway. “Imran’s cases are not allowed to continue in courts,” he added.

Gandapur said that even the constitutional right to protest is being taken away. “We urge people to come out and protest, yet state institutions have left their constitutional tasks and are involved in constitutional acts. They have left terrorism and border security to target us instead,” he said.

The KP chief minister said a mafia structure has taken root in the country. “Institutions claim that they are not participating in politics, but that is exactly what they are doing. I am the son of a soldier, but today the people have turned to the institutions.”

He added that Imran has consistently called for dialogue. “The public rejects undemocratic behavior. If I have met someone for the sake of Pakistan, then yes, I have,” he said.

Gandapur claimed the company played a role in orchestrating false elections and overthrowing the government. “Maulana Fazlur Rehman himself admitted that he acted on the instructions of General Bajwa to reduce our government,” he said.

KP CM said they have given themselves 90 days. “Under the new strategy, we take our movement to its peak by August 5th. Within these 90 days, we will decide whether to continue to carry out politics in this country or not,” he said.

He added that there are no stalemate in the negotiations. “They are wasting time to serve their own interests. We have never held secret meetings, even in official gatherings, I openly represent my party’s agenda,” he said.

He said that if they request permission to hold a demonstration in Lahore, they will also give a guarantee that no vandalism will take place. “Even when we are not announcing a protest, a crash is launched against us,” he added.

Gandapur said, “God forbid that I will be as ASIF Zardari. I have 56 firs against me, including charges of treason. Our 90-day period starts from tomorrow within this time, negotiations must take place and problems must be solved.”

He said, “I admit there are differences within the party, but as a party grows, inconsistencies are natural. I said it yesterday and I say it again today – we have to set aside our internal differences and move on to a shared ideology.”

Gandapur added that KP has RS190 billion in its accounts. “We have generated revenue in KP. Stop vri our statements to false tales. The only person who can solve Pakistan’s problems is the PTI founder. The world has never accepted a government formed through a stolen mandate,” he said.

He said the party had asked not to comment on Maulana Fazlur Rehman, but added: “Maulana Fazlur Rehman is a hypocrite. He is still secret in line with the establishment. He got votes using religion, yet he lost his security deposit in his own constituency.”

He also said, “A person chosen from Balochistan has no right to talk about KP. I challenge Maulana Fazlur Rehman to compete and win against my brother. If he fails, he would end politics. If my brother loses to Maulana, I will leave politics.”

CM for KP said their campaign officially started today with a deadline set at August 5th. “Then we will decide ourselves on politics, the state and our future,” he said.

He added, “On February 8, the people proved that the nation has been awakened. There is nothing essential in the case of Imran Khan, which is why they are not pursued in court. No political movement in the world has been exposed to the kind of oppression we have. We will carry our movement through every street and city over Pakistan.”

He said, “We will soon present a plan that outlines our next step. State institutions have left their actual responsibility and are engaged in other questions. Those responsible for managing the boundaries are the blame for the situation in KP. Your martial arts have destroyed both the country and democracy.

Gandapur added, “Let’s sit together, admit our mistakes and move on. Even after being subjected to such oppression, PTI’s founder urges dialogue. This toxic political culture will eventually harm all parties. We have endured a lot, but many others may not.

KP CM asked: “Why was there no terrorism during the PTI founder’s tenure? Look at the record -how many attacks and drone strikes took place in our time.”

He called for, “Let’s sit down and have a reasoned discussion. After the 26th change, the judiciary has been bound. Set your stubbornness aside and ego and talk for the sake of the nation. If responsibility is to be done, everyone who has made mistakes must be subjected to consequences.”

He also said that the sons of PTI are welcome to come to Pakistan. “They haven’t announced any plans to get into politics. And if they do, it’s our concern, not any other party,” he said.

Meanwhile, the PTI General Salman Salman Akram Raja rejected allegations of departments within the party and called it a tale made by the country’s power brokers.

When he spoke at a press conference, he said, “This is a country with elites. The whole party collection in Lahore is proof that we are united in our demand for the release of our founder, Imran Khan.”

Raja said that Imran Khan’s release symbolizes the state, court freedom and the nation. “Under his leadership, we will change the course of this country’s history,” he added, promising that the events on February 8 will not be forgotten.

He highlighted PTI’s introduction of the health card scheme and said Pakistan’s bad stand with the party. “The whole nation and the party are united to release the PTI founder,” he repeated.

He also accused the government of financial manipulation and said, “Millions of tons of sugar were exported and then regained at higher prices.”

Raja said PTI’s movement will rise from any household across the country. “We have made a promise to the people we do not back down,” he declared.
