An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore sent appointed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s nephew Sher Shah Khan The 14-day legal custody on Thursday and denied the investigative (IO) request for an expansion in physical custody.
During the consultation, Io Muhammad Ashraf Javed sought a 30 -day extension to the physical custody of the five -day, which was awarded earlier on August 23. IO claimed that additional time is required to restore Shah’s mobile phone and a mask allegedly used at the time of the incident – Shah was arrested in connection with May 9 -uprising – and to get details of his social media accounts.
IO assessed the court that a photo -gram test was performed and a “tree danda [stick]“Was recovered from his possession.
The court noted that adequate investigation had already been carried out and that social media accounts do not require further custody of the defendants in the “current era of technology and digital units”.
