In prison former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday refused to review Lie Detector test for the fourth time, and a team of policemen and members of Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) returned after waiting for Rawal Pindis Adiala for four hours.
An anti-terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore had given the police the opportunity to carry out the text on Imran in connection with cases filed against him, and a number of PTI leaders, following unprecedented events of vandalism, where dozens of army installations were attacked on May 9 and May 10 and May 20, 2023.
According to sources, a Lahore police investigative team arrived by DSP Asif Javed to Adiala Prison at 1 p.m. 12.45 to conduct a polygraft test, photogrammetrical and voting -matching tests.
Members of PFSA were also part of the investigative team, including inspectors Muhammad Aslam, Tasaddaq, Saleem and Naveed as well as technical expert Abid Ayub.
After their arrival, the prison authorities stated the PTI founder, but he refused to participate in the investigation for the fourth time. Sources said IMRAN was informed that the investigative team had come up with a court decision, yet he refused to review the tests again.
Following IMRAN’s rejection of collaborating in the investigation process, the teams had to return after a long wait.
Previously, Imran Khan had stated that he would only participate in the investigation and review the tests in the presence of his lawyers.
But when the investigators returned with his legal adviser, he provided a written response that Article 13 gives him protection against being forced to become a witness against himself or help present evidence that can be used against him.
On May 14, Lahore ATC-I Judge Manzer Ali Gill enabled police to conduct polygraf-lie detection and photogrammetric-facial and voice analysis test by IMRAN Khan in twelve 9 May cases.
The judge had ordered the implementation of the tests within 12 days and said the prosecution could meet the PTI founder in the Adiala prison during this period.

In a rare interview released on social media on May 13, Kasim and Sulaiman talked about the alleged “oppression of democracy” in Pakistan and a lack of basic facilities for Imran Khan in his prison cell. They said their father was held in jail on “trumped charges.”
