Attorney Faisal Chaudhry, attorney for Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf founder Imran Khan, was released after being detained for two hours for throwing abuse in a prison.
Faisal Chaudhry had a change with an Adiala prisoner on Thursday when he had to wait outside the jail to meet PTI founder Imran Khan.
However, when he showed up on Friday in Adiala Prison, he was taken into custody from Gate # 5 and switched to Adiala Police Kiosk.
Chaudhry’s colleagues are in favor of Mubashir Maqsood Awan, Faisal Niazi and Imran Niazi also followed him to the police stack.
After being released from detention, Faisal Chaudhry said, “If anyone wants me to sore an apology over heated argument with prison staff during the day I do not want to,” adds, “violation of abuse is not my capacity, but that is my right to protest abuse.
He said he, along with other lawyers, had reached the Adiala prison to meet Imran Khan on Thursday, but they were not allowed to meet their client. In response to the arrest of Faisal Chaudhry, PBC expressed concern about his detention. Stopping a lawyer from the trial means preventing justice, it said.
Faisal Chaudhry went to Adiala Prison for performing for Anti-Terrorism Court. The prison authorities had no legal justification for stopping Faisal Chaudhry. Lawyers perform their professional tasks and they should not be associated with political parties, PBC said.
Meanwhile, taking his X -grip, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain called the arrest of his brother and lawyer Faisal Chaudhry an insult from the lawyers.
