Sulaiman Khan and Kasim Khan, sons of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, recently met with Richard Grenell, a key help to US President Donald Trump, California, the report said Wednesday.
In a post on social media platform X, Grenell shared a photo with Khan’s sons. “Great to spend time with Kasim and Sulaiman. Welcome, my friends!” he wrote. “Stay strong. Millions all over the world are facing political revenge and you’re not alone in this battle.”
Earlier this month, Imran’s sister Aleema Khan said Sulaiman Khan and Kasim Khan would be part of the protest movement. She told the journalists that Imran Khan himself would lead the protest movement from inside the prison.
Last week, in a post that was shared on X, Kasim Khan said his father had chosen to remain in a “dark prison cell” rather than living a life of comfort abroad. “Our father lived in Pakistan – away from us – in most of our lives. Not because he had to, but because he chose to stand up against a corrupt regime.”
