India performs air strikes on three PAF Airbases, all assets in safety: DG ISPR

Karachi:

India has performed air strikes on three Pakistan Air Force (PAF) bases, Nur Khan, Murid and Shorkot. At an emergency press conference held in the early hours of Saturday, Director -General ISPR LT Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry confirmed that all PAF assets remained safe.

“Continued his naked aggression, India has for a while back fired air-to-surface missiles with its jets. PAF NUR KHAN BASE, PAF MURID BASE and SHORKOT BASE were targeted,” he said.

DG ISPR further confirmed that the “majority” of Indian missiles fired against PAF Airbases was successfully captured by the defense systems of the armed forces.

He added that the few missiles that managed to avoid interception “Snow in”, but according to the first injury assessment reports “have not been able to cause any damage” on PAF’s flying assets.

LT Gen Chaudhry declared that Pakistan’s armed forces remain “vigilant and prevent all these fair actions with aggression of Indians.” He described the recent strikes as part of a wider and escalating campaign of India, which he said reflects growing internal instability.

“These obvious actions with aggression from India actually reflect the paranoia within the Indian mindset that continues to grow after failure in each of this act,” he said. “The paranoia continues to grow too when it is aware that they cannot break the decision and will of the population of Pakistan, who actually strengthen and further grow with each such feig act.”

He added that this “growing frustration and paranoia” within Indian strategic circles is likely to be “further composed” as Pakistan’s response functions continue to hold.

LT Gen Chaudhry confirmed that PAF possesses electronic signatures of all Indian missiles used in recent attacks, including data on their launch points and intended goals. “Our air defense systems have successfully prevented the desired goals for India,” he said.

DG ISPR further stated that the time of India’s missile and drone strike on Afghanistan – came shortly after the missile is launched within Indian Punjab – said a “greater creepy plan to push the region and beyond Havoc.”

He warned that India was trying to pull the entire region into a disastrous conflict. “Now you’re just waiting for our answer,” he concluded.

Previously, DG ISPR reported that India launched six ballistic missiles from the Adampur Flybase in Indian Punjab. Of these, a missile landed near the general area of Adampur itself, while the remaining five hit locations in the Amritsar region.

He characterized the incident as a reckless step that threatened civilian life and raised serious questions about India’s operational intention and internal targeting protocols.

He claimed the attacks were not unintentional. “India is deliberately targeted at Sikh-populated areas of Punjab to encourage hostility among Sikhs against Pakistan,” he said.

Meanwhile, several explosions were reported in Rawalpindi and Lahore during the small hours on Saturday, which received security and emergency situations in both cities.

In Rawalpindi, two blasts were heard in the Saddar area, where residents reported that the sound reached as far as Islamabad, according to Express News.

According to sources, the explosions were heard near Nur Khan Airbase in Chaklala. Sirens were activated nearby and many residents voluntarily turned off their lights as a caution.

In Lahore, residents reported high blasts and the sounds of firing roads near Bedian Road and Defense Housing Authority (DHA). Authorities continue to assess the events of both cities.

In a briefing to foreign media on Friday, the main military spokesman India challenged evidence if it has anyone about Pakistan’s attack on Indian military installations with drone and missiles.

“Pakistan has not used drones or rockets. If India claims anything else, let it provide evidence,” he challenged and criticized Indian media for spreading “fabricated stories.”

DG ISPR said the retirement of the Pakistani military against India’s aggression was limited to the Indian military positions fired against civilian areas along the control line (LOC).

LT Gen Chaudhry, together with PAF’s Director -General Public Relations (DGPR), became Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed and Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) Back Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz.

They briefed the media persons about the evolving situation at LOC and the wider regional implications. They rejected strongly Indian accusations of the Pahagam attack and warned that New Delhi’s actions risk destabilizing regional peace.
