Defense Minister Khawaja Asif on Thursday revealed that his Indian colleague Rajnath Singh refused to sign the joint document under a Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in China after being denied another turn to speak.
Talking about Pakinomist News‘Program “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath’, Asif said his Indian colleague treated the event second or third, based on alphabetical order.

The joint statement is not issued if a Member State refuses to sign it, the Minister added.
Earlier, the National Security Advisor (NSA) participated LT Gen Asim Malik at the 20th meeting of the Secretaries of Security Council of SCO Member States Tuesday in Beijing, China.
In addition to interacting with Chinese leadership, NSA delivered an important speech that repeated Pakistan’s attitude to the global and regional situation and contributions to peace and security, in addition to meetings with central management of the SCO countries to improve bilateral and security cooperation.
In a speech at the SCO meeting, Singh New Delhi highlighted terrorism about terrorism and called on Member States to take a principled attitude toward the case, reported Ndtv.
“The biggest challenges in our region are related to peace, security and confidence deficit [….] India believes that reformed multilateralism can help build cooperation to prevent conflict between countries by creating mechanisms for dialogue and cooperation, “the Indian defense said Czar.
‘Refrain from politicizing anti-terrorism efforts’
Participation in the same hug, Defense Minister Asif, promised Islamabad’s unwavering obligation to SCO’s principles and goals.
The defense, expressing concern about ongoing conflicts around the world, emphasized that a peaceful and stable Afghanistan was important to achieve a common vision of sustainable prosperity in the region.
“The international community should ensure a peaceful solution of the long -standing unresolved conflicts in Kashmir [as such] Unluined conflicts remain a constant threat to global peace and security, ”he noted.
By touching the issue of terrorism, Asif was called Terrorism as a common threat to be treated together.
“All states should refrain from politicizing joint efforts against terrorism,” the minister added.
He further emphasized that it remains a common threat and must be addressed collectively. Pakistan calls on all states to refrain from politicizing the joint efforts of the international community to fight the means of terror to divert attention from their internal failures. He confirmed Pakistan’s decisive condemnation of all forms and manifestations of terrorism.
Asif also said Pakistan condemned the terrorist attack in the internationally recognized disputed and illegally occupied region of the IIOJK and said: “We encourage all states to keep these states on accounting, financed, funded and sponsored terrorist attacks such as Jaffar Express in Balochistan”.
In this regard, he called for the peaceful settlement of disputes through dialogue, mediation and preventative diplomacy.
Meanwhile, the minister held on the sidelines at the meeting bilateral engagements with his colleagues from Tadsjikistan, Iran, Kazakhstan and China and exchanged views on common security priorities and in -depth cooperation.
