Indian-backed Fitna Al Khwarij Bag Attack in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, said Public Relations (ISPR) between Inter-Intelligen’s Onsay on Wednesday referred to the strike that killed four children and triggered a protest from local tribal men on May 19.

ISPR displaced allegations of involvement of the security forces in the attack as “completely baseless” and part of a “coordinated disinformation campaign” aimed at discrediting terrorist struggling efforts in the region.

A study launched in the incident found that the killings were orchestrated by Fitna Al Khwarij, a group of Islamabad accuses of being funded and instructed by Indian intelligence agencies.

“These elements – who are requesting their Indian masters – continue to exploit civilian areas and vulnerable populations as shields to perform terrorist acts,” the statement states.

The military said such tactics are intended to create blocks between the local population and security forces. Despite the attack, officials said the armed forces remain obliged to their mission.

“There are efforts to ensure that those responsible for this inhuman act are brought to justice,” the statement added.

According to local sources, five people, including a woman, were also wounded in the incident, which was allegedly caused by ammunition drop by a quad copter on a house in the Hormus Village of Mir Ali.

The deceased children’s ages varied from eight years to just two months.

The locals rushed to the wounded to Mir Ali Tehsil Hospital, where some of the wounded are also said to be in critical condition. The incident has triggered a wave of anger and sorrow, where the residents are staging a sit-in-protest at Mir Ali Chowk since Sunday.
