Indian sabotage along Loc exposed, says Pakistan’s security sources

Security sources in Pakistan have accused India of orchestrating sabotage along the control line (LOC), which claims that Indian forces are actively involved in planting explosives, smuggling weapons and encouraging unrest in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to senior security officials, Indian troops have long engaged in unprovoked firing and sabotage operations along LOC.

Evidence suggests that 54 events involving Indian-planted improvised explosion devices (IEDs) have taken place since 2016 in sensitive areas such as Chakothi, Neza Pir, Chirakot, Rakh Chikri, Deva, Battal and Kot Kotera.

The recent recovery of four IEDs between February 4 and February 6 this year in Batal and Rawalakot sectors led to a civilian’s death and raised alarms about escalating tensions.

Another ceasefire violation of Indian forces on February 12 in the Dewa and Bagsar sectors resulted in damage to two Pakistani soldiers.

Security sources revealed that Indian forces have transported explosives, weapons and drugs over LOC, especially in Bagh, Battal and Deva, to destabilize the region.

Pakistan has formally protested these actions to India and provided proof of the UN officials stationed in the region.

Claims also include the use of double agents of Indian intelligence to smuggle weapons with the help of Indian border units, subsequently eliminate these agents and false feel them as Pakistani operators.

Defense analysts emphasize that these operations are part of India’s wider strategy to provoke Pakistan and suppress dissent in Indian-managed Kashmir.

They claim that India’s activities coincide with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to the United States, suggesting an attempt to discredit Pakistan on the global scene by producing it as a state sponsor of terrorism.

Reports also mention internal questions within the Indian Army, including increasing cases of suicide, which are often incorrectly represented as cross -border engagements.

Pakistan has called on the international community to immediately notice these activities and warn that continued Indian provocations could jeopardize regional stability.
