President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned India’s recent missile attack on Pakistani territory and describes them as an obvious violation of international law and an unprovoked aggression.
He said such actions expose the true nature of India’s fascist government, prioritizing political goals over regional peace and stability.
In a statement that was issued today, President Zardari said the strikes violated the right of international and the United Nations.
He confirmed Pakistan’s obligation to protect its territorial integrity and declared that the armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any additional aggression.
The Indian attacked several locations in Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), resulting in 26 civilian losses, including children.
Pakistan’s military responded by shooting down more Indian aircraft, says security sources.
India’s attack came after the Pahagam attack on April 22 in India-lilally, Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) occupied, resulting in 26 deaths.
India claims the involvement of Pakistani elements in the orchestration of the attack, but has not provided any evidence of supporting the requirement. Pakistan denies all involvement and called for a neutral probe.
The incident led to both countries remembering diplomats, suspending visas and taking military actions.
President Zardari also called on the international community to condemn India’s actions and support Pakistan’s right to self -defense.
He reiterated that Pakistan is seeking peaceful relations with all neighbors but will not compromise on its sovereignty.
The situation remains tense with both countries on high alarm.
