Indo-Pak Spices’ Fallout On Kabul

The Strategic Study Center for Afghanistan’s Foreign Ministry has investigated the impact of tension between India and Pakistan in the region, Tolo News reported.

The first political director of the ministry, during a session entitled “Evaluation of the impact of tension between India and Pakistan in the region,” said regional countries, especially Afghanistan, have been influenced by the strained relations between Islamabad and New Delhi.

Participants in the session emphasized that Afghanistan did not support a war between India and Pakistan and warned of the negative consequences of escalating tensions between the two countries of Afghanistan. Zia Ahmad Takal, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, quoted the deputy for the strategic study center to say that due to Afghanistan’s geographical proximity to both Pakistan and India, the intensification of tension could have direct negative effects on the region and Afghanistan.

He added that the first political director noticed how the attack on tourists in Kashmir had worsened many years of hostilities, with mutual acts from both countries, such as the closure of the Wagah border-there already has an impact on the region and especially Afghanistan.

Ghulam Mohammaddin Muhammadi, a political analyst, said: “Afghanistan’s relations with India have significantly proven, and we hope these ties will further strengthen to help tackle other Afghan challenges. Pakistan is also our neighbor, and Afghanistan is also seeking good relationship with them.”

Participants also noted that Islamic Emirate is prepared for potential development and emphasized that Kabul, during its balanced and economically focused foreign policy, prefers a peaceful decision on the conflict.

Deputy PM/FM Ishaq Dar Sunday confirmed Pakistan’s vision for a peaceful neighborhood, improved trade and connection, sustainable development and prosperity.
