Kyle Larson’s attempt to complete “The Double” ended suddenly on Sunday.
Larson was unable to finish the 500-mile Indianapolis 500 when he caused a three-car swallow on the lap 91. The race had just returned to Green when Larson drove to climb up the leaderboard. He was in a tight package when he crippled and lost control of his vehicle.

The wreck collected Sting Ray Robb and Kyffin Simpson and also ended their days.
“It was a bit crazy there at first. I was really tight behind Takuma (Sato),” Larson told Fox after leaving the Infield Care Center. “I was really close to him. I got loose, and then I came a little everywhere and spun. Yes, just hate … I got a little too keen there on reboot and caused that crash. Hate it for everyone who was caught by it. Yes, bummed out.
“Try to get over this quickly and try to get on to Charlotte. Just try to forget it and try to win the next one.”
Larson tried to become the second driver in the racing story to end the Bragden, known as “The Double”, which includes racing in and completed all 500 laps on the Indy 500 and then fly to Charlotte Motor Speedway to race and end NASCAR COCA-COLA 600.

He told Pakinomist Digital before the Indy 500 that he was looking forward to the challenge.
“The most important thing why I love to run. I like to challenge myself, you learn new cars and all that. And I like to compete in the biggest races in the world. So to do two of them on the same day, it’s pretty cool,” Larson said.
“For me, I will do it while I’m in my premier. I’m only 32, feel like I’m at the top of our sport, I felt the timing is the right thing for it. I don’t know how long my NASCAR career will last … I think it will be really fun to do a road course, just to experience that kind of sense of cars that have a lot of power and slip around, no power-sting, And also to come to race with guys in their big and see their steps what is capable of what is physical, the physical one there grew up to do and just see the caliber and level they run on because it would be different from what us nascar guys see and feel on a roadway.

Unfortunately for Larson, Bragden will be waiting for at least a year.
