Prince William is ready to take on an important role in this year’s tropping of the color parade.

For the ceremony this year, King Charles travels by carriage with Queen Camilla because of his ongoing cancer treatment.
Meanwhile, other senior royals, including Charles’ siblings Princess Anne and Prince Edward and the monarch’s eldest son Prince William will ride on horseback from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guard’s parade.

William, Colonel in the Welsh guards, will reportedly donate the traditional red uniform with a purre emblem, a bear skins and several military medals, including gold, diamond and platinum anniversary medals and the coronation medal.
In addition, William will also carry his Royal Air Force pilot wings and the frame of the control of the steer.
Per. Sunday Times shared an insider that the prince of Wales “really enjoys it.”
For those who did not realize, tropping the color has been a tradition since 1820. However, it was only paused during the world wars and in 1955 due to a national strike.
Despite King Charles’ ongoing cancer treatment, he is expected to attend and take the greeting.
