Interest -free loans to talented young

The Technical Education and Vocational Education Authority (TEVTA) and Bank of Khyber (BOK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday to provide interest-free business loans to talented young people in the province of the EHSAA’s Hunar program in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government.

Special assistant to Chief Minister on Technical Education, Tufail Anjum said on this occasion that Ehsaas Hunar program is a flagship project from Chief Minister of KP for the province’s youth.

According to this program, talented young people in the province will get interest -free loans to start their own businesses.

The special assistant issued the message at the signing ceremony for Mou. The secretary industry Amir AFAQ, CEO of BOK, CEO of Tevta and other officials were also present.

The project is implemented through BOK. An amount of over RS3 billion has been allocated.

According to this project, about 35,000 talented young people in the province will be granted business loans.

Each qualified recipient will receive an interest -free loan of up to RS500,000, which will be repaid in 36 installments. Skilled residents of KP between the ages of 18 and 40 who have a skill certificate or diploma will benefit from this project.

Special assistant for Technical Education Tufail Anjum said the provincial government has formally launched the EHSAA’s Hunar program.
