Interims Bails by Imran, Bushra Extended

Rawalpindi / Islamabad:

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Tuesday extended the preliminary bails of Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, until June 12 in connection with 29 FIR’s registered over PTI’s November 26th Protest.

ATC judge Amjad Ali Shah Prescribed the case. Her advice, advocates for Muhammad Faisal Malik and Hasnain Sanbal, appeared in court and requested that Bushra Bibi be included in the investigation in the presence of her husband and legal representatives.

Prosecutor Syed Zaheer Shah presented case registers to court, while the investigative officers in these cases were also present.

The court extended Bushra Bibi’s preliminary bail until June 12 and postponed additional procedures until the next consultation and instructed both parties’ advice to present their arguments on the following date.

In Islamabad, in Islamabad, further district and sessions Muhammad Afzal Majoka expanded the temporary bails of the PTI base in six cases and Bushra Bibi in one case. The court also ordered IMRAN to be produced either personally or via video link during the next hearing.

During the hearing on guarantee care, attached, lawyer Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry appeared in court.

However, arguments on IMRAN’s behalf could not be presented, as main adviser Salman Safdar was engaged in the Supreme Court. Attorney Chaudhry requested a new date for arguments and noted that despite court decisions, the imprisoned leader had not been produced.

The Court extended the defendant preliminary bails until June 17 and ordered Imran presented either personally or via video link on the next consultation date.
