Int’l Moot discusses fighting terrorism

Islamabad Policy Research Institute (Ipri) hosted an international conference entitled ‘Pakistan: A Bulwark Against Terrorism’ on Tuesday. It was treated by former Foreign Minister and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who offered an olive branch to India and urged it to exhibit sagacity and speak it out with Pakistan. He said Pakistan has come a long way and has defeated terrorism at home, except being a real and instrumental partner in fighting the war against terrorism in the region. He said that with more than 90,000 civilian and military injuries in the last two decades and a security catus of more than $ 100 billion, it is time for the world to recognize Pakistan’s victims and not to reject its utility. The conference was opened by President Ipri LT General (RETD) Majid Ehsan, who outlined the need and necessity of marking Pakistan’s careful role in the fight against terrorism and outlined the way to work on a number of worlds that will integrate politicians and those who fight for this faceless war for a comprehensive success.
