With the Amazon TV series’s third season, which only ends on March 13, you and I have a long wait for our hands on its follow-up. Let’s talk about what you can expect from Invincible ‘s fourth season, including its probable role crew and plot details, and speculates on its possible release date.
Full spoilers follow before Invincible Season 3 and the graphic novel series it is based on. Continue with caution if you actively avoid them in front of the show’s return.
Invincible Season 4 Release Date: What We Know
Invincible was renewed to a fourth season last July. In fact, it was one of nine huge messages that excited us the most at the San Diego Comic-Con 2024.
The work is also well underway. Chatting with Collider, JK Simmons, who votes Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man, revealed that he had already recorded lines for Invincible Season. Invincible TV adaptation and cartoon, stated (via Direct) that he would like new seasons to be released annually.
Depending on how much work has ended in Season 4, it means it could arrive sometime in 2026. However, it is a high measure of any kind of animated show, which typically takes two to three years to make. I’m all for a 2026 release window, but if its crew is forced to crush to get Season 4 finished next year, I would be happy to wait until 2027 and let them do it as best as possible.

No. There is not one Invincible Season 4 trailer for a long time, either. Once released, I update this section.

It is an absolutely stacked vote, but there will be many more characters to meet in season 4.
Meanwhile technical jacket that debuted Invincible Season 3 section 7 and will play a major role that goes on also requires a voice actor. And with Oliver who continues to grow at an accelerated speed, it is also possible converse can also be replaced by an adult voice actor. There are then plenty of options to add more big names stars to the series’ huge ensemble. I wonder if Bryan Cranston will finally stop saying no to Kirkman’s requests to play someone …
Rex Splode was one of last season’s loss (Image Credit: Prime Video)
There are a few grades – and voice actors – who do not return to season 4.
Jason Mantzoukas’ time as Rex Sloan/Rex Splode is over after his character’s death in last season’s seventh episode, alias the one with the brutal invincible war that was first teased in season 3 section 1 and then all but revealed in the Post-Credits scene in season 3’s sixth episode. Darkwing II also apparently died in this match, so Cleveland Berto is probably not probably back in the admissions.
Richardson’s time as the Mauler twins are the same over after being killed by Oliver Grayson in Season 3 episode 3. However, he returns to Voice Monster Girl, so at least he has not been dropped fully from the crew.
Invincible Season 4 -History Speculation
Invincible Season 4 will continue to send its titular all the way down a dark path (Image Credit: Amazon MGM Studios)
Giant spoilers follow for Invincible Season 3’s finale and Image Comics’ graphic romance series.
Invincible Season 4 does not have an official story synopsis yet. However, you can remind yourself of what happened in its foresight’s last episode in my Invincible Season 3 ends explained piece.
This article does not reveal everything that happened after Mark Grayson defeated conquest (with more than a little help from Atom Eve, FYI). If you want some clues about where things will go next time, I give some details to the picture below. Then jump to the next section if you haven’t read the comics and don’t want any big plot -beats destroyed prior to season 4’s release.
Sequence Storyline should reach its conclusion early in season 4 (Image Credit: Amazon MGM Studios)
One of the first major history lines, the season 4, was to cover the revolvies around the sequences. The parasitic forms of life debuted in season 1 section 4 and have been a regular thorn in Mark’s side ever since.
With the alien race that goes to Earth in Season 2 Part 2’s Final – Read my Invincible Season 2 Part 2 Ending explained article for more about how they did it – they pose a huge threat to the human population of the earth. Expect this to be the first big test for Mark and his colleagues heroes post-conquest.
That won’t be the only problem Mark has to contend with. Despite being shown Conquest’s corpse after Mark apparently killed him in Season 3 section 8, the second most powerful Viltrumite Warrior is still alive. He is stored in a secure and secret global defense agency (GDA) location miles below the earth’s surface. The reason? When conquest wakes up from his coma, Cecil wants information about Vildrum Empire and how it can be defeated. I don’t see it going bad for Cecil and Company …
Conquest returns – and he has reinforcements next time (Image Credit: Prime Video)
So yes, conquest returns, but I don’t reveal when or what’s waiting for when he does. Let’s just say that if Mark was angry that Cecil lied to him over Da Sinclair’s Reformation and continued to work with Reanim, he will become apoplectic when he learns conquest that the conquest is not dead.
Moving away from the titular superhero, Invincible Season 4 will let us spend more time with everyone’s favorite Interracial Bromance: Allen Alien and Nolan Grayson. The couple did not have much screen time in seasons 2 and 3, but it will change next time. In fact, they will have much more prominent roles as they try to trace allies and weapons to help them and the coalition of planets (COP) in their upcoming match against Viltrum Empire.
Allen and Nolan Grayson should get more screen time next season (Image Credit: Amazon MGM Studios)
They need all the help they can also get because Season 4 is likely to end up with another conflict – greater and more devastating than the invincible war – between the policeman and the Wildtrumites. Again, no huge spoilers here, but you prepare best for an almighty showdown.
There will be plenty of other sub-plans that need to be solved and new ones will also need to be introduced in Season 4. There will be more melodrama for Mark and Eva to tackle, the return of villains the couple and the other heroes of the earth will have to tackle, immortal and Dupli-Kate, settle to start a family, another restart of Guardians of the Globes Line-up and so much more.
Damien Darkblood is part of a brand new story in Invincible’s TV adaptation (Image Credit: Amazon MGM Studios)
As for new plot points that are exclusive to Amazon’s adult animated adjustment, we already know that there will be one of them in Invincible Season 4. It will be centered on Damien Darkblood, the DeMonDetective, which was banished from Earth by Cecil Midway through the show’s first season.
This is where his story ends in the source material but Invincible The Season 3 final confirms that Darkblood will be back in some capacity next season. No one knows how it will be in the overall narrative, but it is nonetheless comfortable to see Kirkman expand his literary works where he can.

Will Invincible Return for a fifth season on Prime Video?
Don’t be surprised if Mark and Oliver are forced to endure more bloody matches after season 4 (Image Credit: Amazon MGM Studios)
Invincible Season 5 has not been announced yet. It is probably not until the work is completed on the fourth chapter of the series, either.
In response to a question from Direct about his future plans for the show, Kirkman said the whole team’s focus was on ensuring that season 4 is as good as it can be. In short: Any talk of a fifth season and disposable specialties, such as Star Figures other than Mark, such as atom Eve TV special, which was broadcast in the middle of 20224, is currently away from the table.
Kirkman hopes so Invincible However, runs for many more seasons. Adding to the answer he gave directly, he said, “The goal is to customize the entire cartoon,” but would not put a final number on how many seasons it will take to do it.
Currently, each eight-episode season adapts between 15 and 20 cartoon versions. Invincible ran in 144 editions, so if the show maintains that output with each new rate, it should take seven to nine seasons to tell the whole story. As one Invincible devoted, I would also be okay with another five or six seasons of it!
