- IPhone 17 -luft comes with Magsafe, according to a new leak
- This is Apple’s magnetic charging technology that clicks your phone in place
- A leaked picture of an iPhone 17 -Air Box has also appeared
For months now, we’ve heard rumors that Apple will soon release an Ultra -Pind iPhone that allegedly called the iPhone 17 Air. Now a new rumor has come about the device and this is good news for fans of wireless charging.
According to Leaker Digital Chat Station at Chinese Social Media Page Weibo, the iPhone 17 Air will support Apple’s Magsafe technology. This ensures optimal wireless charging efficiency by magnetically snapping the back of your iPhone to the charging puck.
Digital Chat Station used his post to back up rumors sent by Leaker Sonny Dickson over the past weekend. Writing at Weibo said Digital Chat Station that “The whole series has Magsafe”, referring to the upcoming iPhone 17 setup, which would include iPhone 17 air if Apple reveals that phone.
It is in contrast to the iPhone 16E, which came without Magsafe functionality when it was launched. It was presumably to help keep costs down, but with the iPhone 17 air that is expected to be a middle-class phone when it arrives, this concern is probably less urgent for Apple.
iPhone 17 Air Case Delicious Out
This is not the only iPhone 17 leak we have recently encountered. The aforementioned Sonny Dickson has sent a new photo of a case that they claim has been made specifically for iPhone 17 air. It has a clear back shell and a large horizontal cut for the camera and rear sensors.
Dickson, who posted on X, said that “If you didn’t know an air was coming, you would swear that it was a Google Pixel case.” Google’s pixel phones have a horizontal bar along the back that houses the camera, and several rumors have suggested that the iPhone 17 air will adopt a similar look.
Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 17 Air along with the rest of the iPhone 17 series at an event in September. Until then, we cannot be sure of exactly what that unit will include; But if the latest rumors are true, both Magsafe and the horizontal camera line could be crossed by your bingo card.
