IPVanish has just increased the security offering on its desktop apps by integrating its secure browser tool directly into Windows and MacOS VPNs.
IPVanish Secure Browser allows you to browse the web externally, completely in the cloud. It protects you from malware, trackers and various exploits as what you see is essentially a completely disinfected version of the site. None of the potentially bad things when your computer ever.

How does Ipvanish Secure Browser work?
The Ipvanish Secure Browser, originally launched by the end of 2024, was previously an independent function. You can access it via a web app or browser extension using your selected browser.

IPVanish Secure Browser runs completely in the cloud using remote browser insulation (RBI). This means that every site you visit is remotely reproduced, not on your device.

This latest relase highlights the Commitment of Ziff Davies, the parent company of IPVanish, to produce an all-round cybersecurity solution as opposed to just a virtual private network (VPN) client.
“Secure Browser is a core part of IPVanish’s ongoing plans and is an important part of our move from being a VPN provider to a full security suite,” Chief Commercial Officer at IPVanish, Subbu Sthanu.
To this end, IPVanish’s malware protection earlier this year was confirmed to be the best on the market. The company has also recently launched a package of free security tools, including a tool that hides your IP and scans the dark web for leaked E emails.

IPVanish made the safe browser available as part of its advanced plan. Users on this level get up to 30 hours of secure browsing a month. You will see a session lesson in the corner so you can keep an eye on how much browsing time you have left for the month.
