Lahore:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday received a phone call from Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, who conveyed his condolance and solidarity with the population of Pakistan over the destruction caused by continuous floods in different parts of the country.
Pezeshkian, who expressed sympathy with the surviving families who have lost loved ones and property in the accident, assured that Iran was standing at Pakistan during this difficult time and offered any help his country could extend to the flooded population.
Shehbaz thanked Pezeshkian for his thoughtful gesture and Iran’s expression of support.
