Full spoilers immediately follow for Ironheart.
Ironheart has released its thrusters. Its last three episodes landed on July 1 or 2 (depending on where you live), with the trio’s arrival, marking the end of the Marvel TV show’s race on Disney+.
Or is it? The last Marvel -Phase 5 project finale is full of unresolved plot wires, suggesting that Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) and Parker Robbins’ (Anthony Ramos) stories have only just begun in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Throw the debut of a long-awaited Marvel villain and other interesting little things that can affect MCU that goes on, and Ironheart Could be more important to MCU than we realized.
But enough babling. Let’s look at the biggest questions you have about Ironheartending and I will do my best to answer them.
Who is Mephisto in Ironheart? And which actor plays him in MCU?

Let’s take the second question first because it’s easier to answer: Mephisto is played by Sacha Baron Cohen – he of BoratAt Ali gand The trial against Chicago 7 Fame – in MCU.
Cohen’s appearance will not shock some MCU -aligned. He was first linked to the role of Mephisto in October 2022 – the reports arriving 18 months after Marvel fans had convinced himself that Mephisto would be revealed as a primary antagonist for Wandavision. When that happened, Agatha Harkness was that the show’s big bad. Nevertheless, the fans have longed for the day when Mephisto would finally make his bow in Marvel’s cinematic Juggernaut.
As for who (or what) Mephisto is: He is Marvel Comics’ Takes Mephistopheles, Demon Lord, which appears in the Germanic Fable Faust. Mephisto is also an alias of the devil, also known as the mythical personification of evil that praises it over the area known as hell in many religions.

But back to Marvel’s takeover of Mephisto. The demonic device first introduced in the cartoon book ‘Silver Surfer #3’ in December 1968 is a recurring opponent of Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider and Spider-Man in Marvel Literature, although he is also crossed trails with Doctor Strange, Doctor Doom, Scarlet Witch and Myriad Second Marvel Heroes and Villains.
He is also most famous for being responsible for the passing of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson’s marriage. In fact, in the incredibly divisive 2000s comic story ‘Spider-Man: One More Day’, Mephisto entered into an agreement with the couple to save Aunt May’s life in exchange for the formal union of their love that annoyed long-lasting fans of webings.
Ability wise, Mephisto is not surprisingly one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel universe. He possesses all the usual superhuman powers, but it is his ability to change, anticipate events before they occur, and exchange for people’s greatest fears and/or their trauma that makes him such a threat.
It is the latter of these skills, combined with his enormous magical powers that allow him to distort reality and manipulate people and negotiate with them for something they want. Usually, the exchange is the soul of the other person, which Mephisto takes ownership of when an agreement is formally agreed.
Okay, so what is it with him that first appears in Ironheart? He is the person who saves Parker Robbins after the latter and Cousin John’s failed burglary at the home of Parker’s father. Then he convinces Parker to strike a deal: Mephisto will give him a dark magic-infunded hood-hooded parker of parks can commit small crimes and make himself rich-in return for Parker’s soul.
Who dies in Ironheart?

No. The eponyme completely survives, like Anthony Ramos’ villain in Parker Robbins/The Hood and Alden Ehrenreich’s secondary antagonist Zeke Stane.
Actually Ironheart Pulling a reverse UNO card and brings someone back from the dead. After defeating the hood by removing the source of his powers (alias his cloak), Riri leads to the end of Desperito’s, alias the fallen pizza restaurant that the hood turned into his hide.
On the way, however, she bumps at Mephisto, who kajolls her to become his next victim. Mephisto, whose true form can be seen in a slightly mistreated shot, when he teases a teaspoon on the side of a cup of coffee during this long one-a-chat, makes an appointment with Riri to revive Natalie Washington (Lyric Ross). Remember, Natalie is Riri’s best friend who was killed in a drive-by-shooting years ago, and as Natalie, the artificial intelligence on which Riri creates is based.
In return, Mephisto gets Riri’s soul. In fact, after Riri shakes his hands with Mephisto, we are interested in a very emotional reunion between Riri and Reborn Natalie. However, when the couple hugs, Riris right forearm is covered by the same fire-sque skin markings that adorn the body of the park every time he used his cloak and/or powers.
With Riri’s soul, which is now apparently bound to Mephisto, it will be fascinating to see when she is aware that this is the case and if her and/or Natalie sacrifices the latter’s second chance of life to free Riri of the covenant that this deficient hero has done.
Does Ironheart have a mid-circuit or post-credits scene?

Yes and no. Ironheart Have a mid -circuit stinger, but there is no end credit scene to stick to.
Where the former is concerned, we see the now-shoe-free parker visit Stanton’s. It is the confectionery that is a front for the Stanton family that deals with the mysterious and the occult.
In any case, when he enters the store, Parker is greeted by Zelma Stanton (read my Ironheart Cast and Character Guide for more about her), who rattles the welcome spiel we first heard in section 4. The magical ornaments and knowledge of Stantons’ possession. Parker then tells Zelma that he is looking for a more “experienced” and “top” than she is before the screen cuts to black.
Obviously, Parker is interested in finding one of two individuals: Stephen Strange, alias Doctor Strange or the current wizard Supreme/Master of the Mystic Arts in MCU-FANT FAVORIT WONG. Given that strange is off-world that deals with the fallen from Doctor Strange 2I suppose Parker will find wong to learn more about magic. Will it be for the right reasons because he has turned a new magazine in his life, or is he seeking more knowledge of dark magic to claim Riri and Mephisto? Who knows – but this is not the last thing we’ve seen of parks.
Will there be another season of Ironheart?

We don’t know. Unlike their Big-Screen-Offer-Read my articles on how to watch the Marvel movies in order and the best Marvel movies while you are here-telling Marvel rarely if a show the protagonist returns in another season when its last end credits sequence are rolled. The only time I can remember that the cartoon giant did it was with season 1 of LokiWith a mid -circuit stinger that says “Loki will return in Season 2”.
Tom Hiddleston-Starring Series aside, Marvel has only renewed three other shows: Daredevil: Born againIf the second season is currently under development and animated offers Your friendly neighborhood spider-man and What if …?. The former second season is also in active development, while the latter ran for three seasons between 2022 and 2024.
The chances of Ironheart Season 2, which is green -lit, is not too high. Of course, its 86% critical score on the rat Tomatoes suggests it should be, but its mixed audience assessment indicates that general viewers would not be destroyed if another season is not upcoming.
In my opinion, it is far more likely that Williams, Robbins and/or Mephisto will appear in other MCU projects. Williams could be part of the role crew to Marvel’s long rumor Young Avengers project. Based on Ironheart’s Mid-Credits Scene, Robbins could appear in another rumored Disney+ Show called Strange Academywhich could play Benedict Wong’s sorcering Supreme and exploring Mystic Arts in more detail. As for Mephisto, considering his shared story with Spider-Man, it would be too much to ask for a como in Spider-Man: Brand new day? Probably but foreign things have happened.
