Ever since Samsung teased his ultra-slim variant of the Galaxy S25 family in its January 2025 unpacked, and since then brought Galaxy S25 Edge On a bit of a world tour with a stop at MWC, we have all wondered when the tech giant would share more. Well, now we know.
Samsung has just dropped invitations to his next Galaxy unpacked, and it’s a very virtual affair with a clear focus – Galaxy S25 Edge. Even with its ultra-sink design that will land under the Galaxy S25’s 7.2 milimeter, it still sticks through the invitation center.
The invitation image reveals, under a cloth of some kind, the super slim silhouette. It is accompanied by “Beyond Slim” on the left and “May 12, 2025 Live on Samsung.com” on the right.
It basically gives it away, and Samsung streams this galaxy unpacked at. 20 ET/17: 00 PT/1 AM BST/(10:00 Aest on May 13, 2025 in Australia) lives on its site and on YouTube.
A shared blog post from Samsung describes much more about this addition to the Galaxy S lineup and actually names the Galaxy S25 Edge, writing: “This is more than a slim smartphone.” It teases that the Galaxy S25 Edge will offer performance at the flagship level with ‘superior portability’ without compromising on any of it, apparently.
It also confirms a key spot for the edge that has been accommodated with many others. “Even with its slim form, the Galaxy S25 Edge’s 200MP wide Linse Galaxy’s iconic camera experience continues, providing pro-grade capabilities to intuitively capture the world around you,” thus confirming the ultra-slim phone a very sharp head shooter. It will also match Galaxy S25 Ultrawhich has the same sensor for the primary lens.
Samsung really emphasizes that it required a lot of engineering to make the Galaxy S25 Edge reality and that it had no shortcomings that would have dropped it from the main line Galaxy S family of phones. Much of the May 12 Galaxy -Packed will probably go into depth with how this device came into being.
We still expect the Galaxy S25 edge to arrive at a premium price, somewhere over $ 999 / £ 999 / AU $ 1,699. It should include Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 elite for galaxy inside, given that it drives the rest of the set -up. We also expect it to match 12 GB of RAM, which should make it a fast and efficient phone, but we also do not yet know what size of battery Samsung has been able to squeeze into the swelter frame.
