Minnesota Vikings put a defensive clinic against Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon, and Cornerback Isaiah Rodgers’ performance was the record book worthy.
Rodgers became the first player in the NFL story to record a pick-six, a fumble returned to a touchdown and two coercion fumbles in a single game as the Vikings blew Bengals, 48-10, to move to 2-1 in the year.
Here’s the fun part: Rodgers did it all in the first half.

Rodgers, which the Vikings acquired as a free agent this season, picked Jake Browning, who is likely to be the starter for Bengals, moving on as Joe Burrow needs surgery to repair peat, which was a little in last week’s victory over Jacksonville Jaguars.
The ball was tilted by Safety Harrison Smith, and Rodgers saw daylight after securing the eavesdropping. Rodgers went 87 meters down the left sideline to add six points to the Viking’s total amount as they started running up.

Then, in the second quarter, Rodgers asked the tight end Noah Fant and knocked the ball out of his hands. Rodgers were quick to respond, restored the ball and went 66 meters back the other way this time for another touchdown.
Before the first half ended, Rodgers added another forced Fumble to his State Line, this time it got it out of star recipient Ja’marr Chases VITT and restored it. There was also a moment when Rodgers saved a touchdown with one-on-one cover against Tee Higgins.

The Vikings went into the dressing room with a 34-3 lead after the first half, and they added a pair to a good measure in the second half as well.
Carson Wentz, who filled in quarterback with JJ McCarthy Hurt, was 14-AF-20 in 173 yards with two touchdowns, while Jordan Mason rushed to 116 yards with two touchdowns in only 16 carrier for Minnesota.
Tight ends TJ Hockenson and Josh Oliver each had a touchdown pass from Wentz in the victory.

This may be just the first loss for Bengals this season, but given how far they need browning to go before Burrow may even be entitled to return, this makes this one regarding the first game as the team’s full -time starts at quarterback.
