An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Monday heard several cases against Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including those related to protest 26 November, alleged voting rig and the demonstrations of Azadi-Marts.
Judge Tahir Abbas Supra chaired the case and noted that the law has not yet responded to his letter about the PTI base. He said a reminder would be sent today and urged the state to clarify whether it is serious to pursue these cases.
The court marked the participation of the defendants and exposed the consultations. Copies of Challan were distributed in the Kohsar Police Department case, while requests for an exemption from appearance were filed by PTI leaders Omar Ayub and Ali Nawaz Awan.
