US President Donald Trump announced on Monday a complete ceasefire between Israel and Iran, which potentially ended the 12-day war, which saw millions fled from Tehran and got fear of further escalation in the war-hired region.
But there was no confirmation from Israel, and the Israeli military said it had discovered missiles launched by Iran against Israel in the early hours on Tuesday.
“Defensive systems work to intercept the threat,” Israel Defense Forces said in a statement.
Israel, along with the United States over the weekend, has carried out attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities after he claimed Tehran was close to getting a nuclear weapon.
“Taking the assumption that everything works as it should, as it will, I would like to congratulate both countries, Israel and Iran, having perseverance, courage and intelligence to end what was to be called ‘The 12 Day War’,” Trump wrote in his truth’s social place.
While an Iranian official previously confirmed that Tehran had accepted a ceasefire, the country’s foreign minister said there would be no cessation of hostilities unless Israel stopped his attacks.

A senior White House official said Trump had broken the deal in a call to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel as long as Iran did not launch any further attacks.
Trump seemed to suggest that Israel and Iran would have time to implement any missions in the process at which time the ceasefire would begin in a staged process.
Iran ever denies having a nuclear weapons program, but supreme leader Ali Khamenei has said that if it would, world leaders would “not be able to stop us”.
Israel, which is not a party to the international non-spreading treaty, is the only country in the Middle East assumed to have nuclear weapons. Israel does not deny or confirm it.
Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani secured Tehran’s agreement during an invitation with Iranian officials, an official informed about the negotiations for Reuters Tuesday.
US Vice President JD Vance, State Secretary Marco Rubio and US special envoy Steve Witkoff were in direct and indirect contact with the Iranians, the White House official said.
Neither Iran’s UN Mission nor the Israeli Embassy in Washington responded to separate requests for comment from Reuters.
Hours earlier, three Israeli officials had signaled that Israel was soon looking to end his campaign in Iran and had passed the message to the United States.
Netanyahu had told the government ministers, whose discussions ended early on Tuesday not to speak publicly, Israel’s Channel 12 -TV reported.
Markets responded positively to the news.
The S&P 500 futures rose 0.4% late on Monday, suggesting that dealers expect the US stock market to open with winnings on Tuesday.
US raw futures fell in early Asian trade times on Tuesday to their lowest level in more than a week after Trump said a ceasefire had been agreed upon that facilitated the concerns of supply disorders in the region.
End of the matches?
There didn’t seem to be calm yet in the region.
The Israeli military issued two evacuation warnings in less than two hours to residents of areas of the Iranian capital Tehran, one late on Monday and an early Tuesday.
The Israeli army radio reported early on Tuesday that alarms were activated in the Southern Golan Heights area due to fear of hostile aircraft can.
Earlier on Monday, Trump said he would urge Israel to continue against peace after dismissing Iran’s attack on an American aircraft base that caused no damage and thanked Tehran for the early announcement of the strikes.
He said Iran fired 14 missiles on the American aircraft base and called it “a very weak answer that we expected and have very effectively received.”
Iran’s handling of the attack remembered previous clashes with the United States and Israel, where Tehran seeks a balance between saving face with a military response, but without provoking an escalation cycle it cannot afford.
Tehran seems to have achieved this goal.
Iran’s attack came after US bombers fell 30,000 pounds of bunker-buster bombs on Iranian underground nuclear facilities over the weekend and joined Israel’s air war.
Much of Tehran’s population of 10 million has fled after day of bombing.
The Trump administration claims that its goal was to destroy Iran’s nuclear program, not to open a wider war.
“Iran was very close to having a nuclear weapon,” Vice President JD Vance said in an interview on Fox News’ “Special Report with Bret Baier.”
“Now Iran is unable to build a nuclear weapon with the equipment they have because we destroyed it,” said Vance.
Trump has quoted intelligence reports that Iran was close to building a nuclear weave without elaborating. However, US intelligence agencies said earlier this year that they considered Iran not built a nuclear weapon and a source of access to US intelligence reports told Reuters last week that this assessment had not changed.
But in a social media post on Sunday, Trump talked about overthrowing the hardline -clergy -gersias who have been Washington’s most important enemies in the Middle East since Iran’s Islamic Revolution in 1979.
However, Israel had made it clear that its strikes in the Evin prison – a notorious prison for housing political prisoners – and other goals in Tehran were intended to hit the Iranian reigning apparatus broadly and its ability to maintain power.
