Bruce Pearl, the main coach of the Auburn Tigers Basketball team and chairman of the US Israel Education Association, provided the killings of two Israeli embassy employees after a Jewish museum event at the capital on Wednesday night.

Pearl appeared on Outkick’s “Don’t @ Me With Dan Dakich” and said he was at Capitol Hill on Wednesday night and talked about Jewish heritage month before the shooting took place.

“There’s a huge increase in anti -Semitism. We’ll overcome it,” said Pearl. “This was just a young couple, two diplomats who were just ready to start their lives. The young man had a ring and was just ready to ask this beautiful girl to marry him and start a family. And it’s all right now because of, honestly, just the lie. Just lies and incredibly terrible propaganda.”

Pearl said he thought that when anti-Israeli agitators march on the streets or university campuses and sang “Free Palestine”, it really meant they would free it from Jewish people.

“When they say, ‘Free Palestine’ – what they mean is free Palestine of the Jews. Free Palestine by your vent coach, Bruce Pearl.… That’s what it’s all about,” he said. “If you were to sit there and demand an intifada, or if you should call for the death of the Jews, you will be DC last night.”

Pearl complained about the “lies” told of Israel – whether on university campuses or in the media.

However, college basketball coach did not believe that the shooting would be a rocking point for those who protested against Israel.

“I don’t know that it can. I don’t know we’re at a rocking point on this right now. In three days it will be over and we’ll be on what’s next,” Pearl said. “You go to Washington, DC, and you have Jewish Congress members and senators who are Democrats who will take a certain position and a certain side of things because we are politically that we are in such no, I do not see that this thing is changing a lot.”

Yaron Lischinsky, an Israeli, and Sarah Milgrim, an American, both worked at the embassy and were engaged before being shot and killed at the capital Jewish Museum in Washington, according to the Israeli ambassador to US Yechiel Leiter.

Washington, DC police identified the suspect as 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez, who was taken into custody after the shooting attack. He was allegedly seen pace outside the museum before approaching a group of four people, including the two victims, and opened fire. Rodriguez then allegedly went into the museum, where he was detained by security. He allegedly shouted “Free, Free Palestine!” While I was in custody.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic murders of two young Israeli diplomats outside the capital Jewish Museum,” the team said. “Anti -Semitism and hatred have no place in our society, and we join the whole of DMV to offer our thoughts and prayers to the families of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgri. May their memories be a blessing.”
