Colleen Hoover, the author of It ends with ushas previously made his stance clear on the legal battle between the film’s leading pair.
But as the controversy deepens, the acclaimed author appeared to take a step back from the overall conflict.
According to Just Jared, her Instagram account has been deactivated without any explanation from her side.
Last month, she supported Blake Lively amid her allegations against Justin Baldoni.
She had “been nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met,” the author wrote. “Thank you for being exactly the person you are. Never change. Never fade.”

Meanwhile, the legal battle between the co-stars has grown. Justin’s legal team recently released behind-the-scenes footage of a scene where Blake claimed she had been sexually harassed.
His lawyer, Bryan Freedman, argued that ten minutes of unedited footage “clearly disproves Ms. Lively’s characterization of his behavior. The scene in question was designed to show the two characters falling in love and longing to be close to each other.”
“Both actors are clearly behaving well within the confines of the scene and with mutual respect and professionalism. That’s all three takes of the sequence,” he concluded.
