Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge earns plaudits in lots of its amazing titanium design and unlikely thinness (not least from us here at Techradar), but the phone’s less than hoped battery continues to raise eyebrows.
At 3,900mAh, the cell in the Galaxy S25 Edge is only a smell that is smaller than the one in the standard Galaxy S25, but in Samsung’s new phone, the same battery should drive a much larger 6.7-inch screen.
It is understandably led to the endurance of the edge of the edge, but Samsung is convinced that its new handset will give more than enough battery life for everyone except the most hardcore users.
In an exclusive conversation with Techradar, Kadesh Beckford, Smartphone -Product Specialist at Samsung MX, played the idea that the Galaxy S25 Edge compromise on the life of the battery to deliver a more aesthetically appealing design.
“Although we have made this unit incredibly thin, we have tried to make sure customers have [suitable] Battery life available to them based on their needs, “explained Beckford.” With 24 hours of video playing time and a battery all day, [the Edge] will last literally from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed. So we actually give [consumers] what they need [in terms of battery life].
“And also,” Beckford continued, “with lithium graphite technology and the thermal interface material in there, it keeps the device cool, so pretty much whatever you’re doing on your phone, [it’ll] Last all day long and then some. “

Of course, being compatible with practical charging methods is not the same as offering good battery life directly, but Beckford’s point around the real world’s practical racks. For most of the users, the Galaxy S25 Edge delivers battery life all day, and the phone’s wireless charging and QI2 compatibility must ensure that it can be charged anytime, anywhere, anywhere if you find yourself who want juice.

Just how quickly The Galaxy S25 edge can be charged to 100% is another matter completely. The phone supports the 25W cable, 15W wireless and 4.5W reverse wireless charging – it is comparable to the standard Galaxy S25 but a way out of the Galaxy S25 Plus and S25 Ultra, both of which support the 45W cable charging.
No matter what way you look at it, then you will sacrifice some stamina by choosing the Galaxy S25 Edge over one of the best Samsung phones. But as Samsung suggests that downgrade is not likely to feel dramatic for those who are already charging their smartphone on a daily basis.
