Marvel is not actively looking for another actor to replace the deceased Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa in his cinematic universe.
It is, according to Nate Moore who told Techradar that the cartoon Titan had not discussed the prospect of reworking the character of Black Panther 3. Moore, who is among the film’s many producers, said fans should ignore the recent rumors that Marvel was finally ready to throw another actor like T’Challa and in the process give the black Panthermantel to another star for the third time.
Boseman died in August 2020 after private fighting bowel cancer. In the years since the death of the beloved actor, Marvel has fought for questions that it would rework T’Challa in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In fact, speculation was everywhere about who would replace Boseman like T’Challa in the months before head photography that began on Black Panther: Wakanda foreverThe 2022 Successor for 2018’s Multi-billion dollar and 2019 Best Image Oscar-nominated Black Panther. As it turned out, Marvel decided not to rework t’challa and as part of Wakanda foreverThe plot, adopted the African Nation’s protector-in-chief role to Latitia Wright’s Shuri, alias T’Challa’s brother.
With Marvel who now confirms Black Panther 3 Is in early development – Studio Head Kevin Feige admitted that it was in the wake of Denzel Washington accidentally saying he would have a role in it – the reworked rumor mill has been restarted. In January, MCU Leaker Jeff Sneids claimed that Marvel had offered the role of a named actor, but they rejected it because of their concerns of filling Boseman’s iconic shoes. Mytimetoshinehello, another insider with a dubious track record for delicious information about Marvel projects, has also suggested that Marvel wants to find an actor to play T’Challa’s son (also named t’challa) that viewers met in Wakanda forever‘s mid-credits scene.
However, Moore is clearly confused by the Hearing Say about all casting news about the study’s next Black Panther movie. When I asked if he could comment on the rumors, Moore smiled and said, “There is no truth to these rumors.
“To be honest, Ryan [Coogler, director of the Black Panther franchise]is the knee deep on [his next movie] Sinners, so he hasn’t really started to crack the story with us. So it’s fun to read all these reports online about the villains, throw rumors and that and that. That’s news for all of us.
“What I want to say is that it speaks to how much the fans love that property,” he continued. “We should be so lucky for fans to be interested in it and want to know what’s happening. I can honestly say we haven’t done anything so any reports are fake but I look forward to getting back in it with Ryan once he’s ready.

It will be long before we see Black Panther 3But it is possible that the T’Challas age son could appear in one of the next two Avengers Movie whose Marvel will include him. Filming is reportedly expected to start on the first of these films – Avengers: Judgment Day – In March, so maybe we will learn more then.
Whether T’Challa’s son appears in one or both films, there will be a new black panther production to enjoy later in the year, with Marvel Eyes of Wakanda Animated spin-off show set to debut at Disney Plus. According to a Marvel trailer that revealed his TV series Line-Up for 2025 last October, the Marvel Phase 5 program will be released on the streaming platform on August 6.
