A frightening moment appeared in Kent, Indiana, like a bus bearing Indiana University Indianapoli’s Lord’s Basketball team, fired on the way back from a road game on Saturday.
The team returned from its game towards northern Kentucky as a mechanical problem caused the bus to take fire.
The entire team and staff evacuated the bus safely, according to a post from IU Indy Athletics on X. The post also mentioned another bus at that time to pick them up for the trip back to Indianapolis.

Photos were delivered to Pakinomist Digital by IU Indy Athletics, which showed the bus completely burned and charred from the flames that shrouded it in the middle of the highway.
Another photo showed that the bulging black smoke rose from the bus, causing some obvious traffic on the highway.

Jaguars fell to the Norse, 71-67, in Highland, Kentucky, before the trip home.
IU Indy is 9-20 together in the year (5-13 in conference games). They have had a tough trip of late and lost four of their last five games.

There are only two games left in the regular season, both of which will be at home in Indianapolis.
They face Robert Morris this Thursday at. 18:30
Their last home game of the season, which will also be senior day, will be against Wright State on Saturday afternoon at. 14:30
