In a recent essay to Vanity FairAt The departed Star’s daughter remembered his first meeting with Twin Peaks Actress at home in Los Angeles.
“I will never forget the first day when Lara was introduced to us kids. She came down the outdoor staircase to join us by the pool. I remember the sun reflected over the water, the sound of windbacks in the trees . ”
“We didn’t have to know that she had been nominated for an Emmy that year for her work with practice for my brother, and I had to know that we were in the presence of a powerful person,” she wrote.
Lorraine also revealed Lara’s positive influence on her, which helped her fight her uncertainty at a young age.
“Lara taught me as much as femininity, youth can be depressing and confusing, but it can also be full of freedom and effortless game,” she concluded.
