College was lots of fun and games for Travis Hunter – and how couldn’t it be?
The former Colorado stand out became a household name after transferring from Jackson State along with Deion and Shedeur Sanders by playing both offense and defense.
In his last season as Buffalo, Hunter Heisman won Trophy and parlayed it to become the second overall choice of Jacksonville Jaguars, who gave up a move in the NFL draft to get him.

He is currently listed as a Jags’ no. 2 wide recipient and # 3 Cornerback – ironically, he was originally seen as more a corner than a recipient early in college.

Everyone is faster, stronger and wiser. The latter detail is what Hunter has been trying to focus on since he was drafted.
“Just the mental part, you have to be mentally strong and ready for what’s coming your way,” he told Pakinomist Digital. “You still have a point to prove. And playbook, you have to keep things much faster and apply it to the field.”

A large part of what has helped him do so is Celsius -Energi and to be a staple for their “Live. Fit. Go.” campaign. Hunter signed a NIL agreement with Energy Drink Company before his Heisman campaign, and it contributed to his “big” camp.
“Just keeping my energy levels up, making sure I’m locked in and focused on the amount of energy I need. And I’m very excited to be part of the campaign. They chose me to be one of their people and I’m excited to continue working with them.”
“It was great to be locked in, learn the playbook, know the guys and get comfortable with my teammates,” he added.

Jags hosts Carolina Panthers at. 13 a Sunday. And now that his NFL debut is here, his true role is simple.
“Just I was myself,” he said. “To go out there and be what everyone thinks I can be.”
