When most valuable campaigns were founded in 2021 by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, they beat gold by signing Amanda Serrano for a deal, making her the first woman on the brand.

Serrano had already cemented her legacy as one of the goats for female boxing, and she has since signed a lifetime agreement with the brand. But since she joined MVP, she has gone 0-3 against Katie Taylor.

Taylor finished the trilogy sweep on Friday in Madison Square Garden, where the rivalry first began in 2022.

MVP has a stacked list. Its other female fighter Shadasia Green won the IBF Super Middleweight title on Friday to go with her WBO belt she won back in November. Of course, there should be zero regrets in the signing of Serrano that has represented the brand better than anyone else. One could have been wrong of the decibel level at Madison Square Garden Friday night, filled with Aa Serrano favorite audience, to Game 7 in a knicks or rangers series.

After defending his title again to someone without a doubt about Women’s Boxing’s Mt. Rushmore, Taylor is arguably the biggest female boxer in this generation and perhaps over time.

Taylor has been signed with Eddie Hearn’s matchroom boxing since 2016. So, as Bidarian put it after Taylor’s victory on Friday night, “it’s not really an opportunity to sign her.”

Katie Taylor says it was ‘very satisfactory’ after close first matches to end the trilogy over Amanda Serrano

But Taylor’s last two matches and three of her last six have been promoted by MVP. So can the door be open?

“She has experienced working with us twice in a row, and I am convinced that the right opportunity comes up, she will continue to work with us,” Bidarian said. “But I also respect that she is very loyal and has worked with matchroom for a number of years and she has to balance this relationship.”

Say what you want about Paul, but he has unequivocally put women’s boxing on the map for all the right reasons. Madison Square Garden was filled with mothers and dad with their daughters to see a fully-high card that set a Guinness world record for most titles on the line on a single card.

Serrano was emotional to thank the crowd, Bidarian and Paul for their support for women’s boxing in the ring after the match.

So if there is one thing about MVP that they can hang their hat on, it is that they have made women’s boxing TV TV TV, even though their star woman fighter stays without the coveted belt she would have so bad from her long-standing rival.
