Miami Dolphins Guard James Daniels continues to recover from a torn Achilles, which he suffered during week 4 in the 2024 season, but the veteran NFL player said it is nothing compared to what is going on in the US

Daniels, who spoke with the media after an exercise session on Thursday, took the opportunity to talk about immigration Arrests and protests in Los Angeles when asked about the hardest thing he had to overcome during his recovery journey.

“I spend a lot of time at home and I realize I’m in a fantastic position. Achilles, yes, it was unfortunate, but there are people in all worse positions,” he said.

“Especially what happens in LA – people’s parents, people’s grandparents are being deported illegally. I don’t have to worry about my mother being deported, my father is being deported or my wife is being deported.”

Daniels continued to call his situation “pretty easy” in comparison.
