Jamie Lee Curtis opened to how Lindsay Lohan helped her change her view of how her late mother, Janet Leigh, could have reacted to her Oscar-winning role in Everything everywhere at once.
In a recent chat with PeopleCurtis shared that she thinks her mother “would have abhorred” the film because of her physical appearance in it.
However, Lohan’s remarks led her to consider her entire point of view.
“Oh she would love this. She would love it,” Curtis said on a recent Freakier Friday Screening on July 28, when she was asked what she thinks Leigh would have thought of her new movie.
The Halloween Actress continued to say, “Lindsay said to me one day, ‘Well, how do you know what she would have thought?’ And I’m like ‘Well, I know my mother.
“In her generation, what you looked like, your currency. [Leigh] Was a great beauty … and then because of it I thought she would have a problem with the way I saw, ”Curtis explained.
“Maybe she would have loved it. Maybe she would have appreciated the art of it,” Curtis added, but confirmed, “she would loved this. This would be, she loved this. She loved real lies. She loved it.”
“She always thought I was a comedian because I was a disgusting teenager,” laughed Curtis.
