“I’m very happy to be back here. It’s been three very long months,” Sinner said during a press conference Tuesday. “I was happy to share some good moments with my family with my friends. We practiced very hard, especially in the gym in the beginning, and returned to court again.”
On top of sharing information about his training, Sinner came in front of journalists to confirm that he is “single.”
“I saw that there is a lot of attention, also kind from the field, and I was also very surprised to see some pictures, as nothing seriously, let’s say like that: I’m not in a relationship, so for the one who asks, it’s all good.”
Sinner and Kalinskaya were attached to last year, which he confirmed at French Open In May 2024, the New York Post reported. The couple shared a kiss a few months later after he won the US Open in September.

Tennis organization draws mixed reaction after ‘creepy’ anti -doping policy surfaces on social media
But the paparazzis click and Sinner’s comments this week have confirmed their split.
Back on the field, Sinner expressed joy in returning to tennis after the world’s anti-doping agency (WADA) suspended him as a result of testing positively for a forbidden anabolic steroid twice more than a year ago.
“I didn’t want to do it in the beginning, and it was also a little not easy for me to accept it because I know what really happened,” Sinner said. “But sometimes we have to choose the best in a very bad moment and that’s what we did. So it’s everywhere now. So I’m happy to play tennis again.”

Sinner, 23, tested positively for low levels of metabolite of Clostebol, a prohibited anabolic steroid that can be used for ophthalmological and dermatological use, in March 2024. Eight days after the Indian Well Tournament, Sinner tested positive again in an out-competition test.
According to International Tennis Integrity Agency’s original finding, Sinner explained that he tested positively after receiving a massage from a coach who had used an over-the-counter spray that contained Clostbol to treat a small wound after cutting his own finger.
While Wada accepted the explanation without error, the organization said the three-month suspension was needed as “an athlete bears the responsibility of Entourage’s negligence.”
