Another tense confrontation on the web overshadowed games on the US Open, such as Spain’s Jaume Munar and Belgium’s Zizou Bergs exchanged words after their third round match in Flushing, New York. “
Munar was not happy with the noise that Bergs made under Munar’s Straight-Sets victory in the third round.
Bergs explained why Munar had allegedly had late in the match after the match and referred to the Recycle Bin.

Bergs asked him why on the web after his loss, and the two tennis players were seen jaws back and forth.

“He was apparently not so happy with my grinning during the match that I did not know,” Bergs said. “I said, ‘It’s nothing against you at all.'”
Munar gave his side of the story and said that Bergs’ grunting bothered him on several occasions.
“I think he did some wrong things, but he said it wasn’t on purpose,” Munar said. “So it’s not much more than that.”

There was another event during the fight when Bergs was anchored a point for bolt abuse after smashing a ball into the stands. He drew 40-love at the time, giving the Munar game.
It was 4-all in the third set, so Bergs’ lapse of control gave Munar control of a 5-4 lead and needed only one more game to take the fight.
That was exactly what happened when Munar closed it out in straight sets, 6-3, 7–6 (4), 6–4 to reach the round of 16. “
The victory marks Munar’s deepest race on a Grand Slam, while Bergs, ranked outside the top 7, went out after taking his main feature debut in New York.

With the victory, Munar went on to the second week of a slam for the first time, where he will meet Italy’s No. 10 seed Lorenzo Musetti Monday to determine if he has a place in the quarterfinals of the last Grand Slam in the Tennis season.
