Jeffries on Newsoms Trans Athlete Stand: ‘DNC Against Unleashing Sex Predators’

US House of Representatives Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, DN.Y., did not repeat -turned argument that the defending women and girls in the sports law would have “detached” sexual predators on girls in the US

Jeffries first made this argument the day the house voted on the bill on January 14 and joined other prominent democratic representatives, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y. The argument asked hard setbacks among some registered democratic voters and was not repeated until the Senate vote on the bill on Monday.

But Jeffries raised the argument again when asked about California Govin Gavin Newsom’s recent comments about transking athletes in Girls Sports, “unreasonable.”

“I haven’t seen [Newsom’s] Comments. What Democrats opposed was to release sexual predators of girls throughout the United States of America, “Jeffries told journalists on Thursday.

When Jeffries and other house Democrats pushed the argument in January, it was not rooted in any language within the bill. Republicans insisted No gender inspection would ever be necessary and this evidence of the gender of birth could simply be determined with a birth certificate.

The bill ended up adopting in Parliament with a vote of 218-206. Two Democratic Representatives, Henry Cuellar and Vicente Gonzalez, both of Texas, voted for it despite Jeffries and others who feel the bill “The Republican Empowerment Act of the House.”

When the bill reached the Senate earlier this week, a single Democrat did not vote in favor of it, and with 45 votes against it was able to filibust the bill despite 51 Republicans who voted for it.

Several democratic senators talked about why they did not vote for the bill, Pakinomist Digital previously reported and offer a variety of reasons. However, almost none of them repeated the argument that the bill would strengthen sexual predators to give gender studies to young girls.

Those who expressed similar concerns were Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev ,, and Senator Dick Durbin, D-Aill. In a statement to Pakinomist Digital.

“This carpet legislation would give everyone the opportunity to expose girls to invasive physical examinations, just because of the way they look. It’s an incredible government overrun and puts young women at increased risk of abuse and harassment – something I’ve spent my career fighting against,” Cortez Masto said in a statement.

Durbin added, “It’s so personal, it’s so important and [because of Republicans]We will vote to give any unspecified right to physically inspect a girl or a young woman if the other opposing team accuses them of being transking. My goodness. “

Shortly after the vote in parliament in January, some democratic voters left the party in response to the children’s predator argument by Jeffries.

The prominent Rutger’s law professor Gary Francione and some of his democratic comrades in education and law were among those who left the party ..

“It just made me very upset because it screamed out of a lack of integrity, lack of honesty,” Francione told Pakinomist Digital. “That’s the way you are struggling with strokes? By trying to offend other people who are against you and disagree with you and suggest they are children’s corridors or pedophiles? It looks like you’ve lost the game. … I don’t know how to ever come back from this.

“I can say with confidence in the people I know who are Democrats whom I have spoken to, the vast majority of them are very unhappy with all these things and feel the party has lost the way. I know a couple who said they will [leave the party]”

President Donald Trump signed an executive order to ban trans athletes from women’s and girls’ sports and promised to withdraw federal funding from any state that does not comply. California, Minnesota, Massachusetts and Maine are already under investigation so as not to comply with it.

Trump confirmed his intention to punish states that continue to allow trans -athletes to compete with girls at Tuesday evening’s address at a joint congressional meeting.

The White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt insisted that Trump “doesn’t come back” when he goes after these states.

“The president is committed to ensuring that states are held responsible if they continue to allow men in women’s sports, which he believes is an irregular violation of taxpayers’ dollars. And then this fight continues and the president does not go back,” Leavitt said.

“This is a Commonsense policy. Eight percent of the American people, including more than 60% of Democrats, do not want men in women’s sports.”
