Jennifer Aniston opened just about the one man she sought to impress.
The 56-year-old actress, famous for her role as Rachel Green in the popular sitcom, Friends, was bred by his father John Aniston, who died in 2002 and mother Nancy Dow, who died in 2016.
Talking to Vanity Fair Over how close she was to her father and how much she would impress him, Jennifer said she grew up manifesting the success she has at the moment, so John would “love me as much as I love him.”
“That’s what drove me and also was my greatest heartache: to try to impress and prove your value to a man who is only so much,” the Murder mystery Said actress.
She admitted that “would always get POP’s approval,” and said that before his death, almost three years ago, she was able to hear his father say he is proud of her.
“We had a few of these moments,” The collapse Talent revealed.
Jennifer was also asked what inspires her “way of pushing joy and positivity”, a comment made about her by Sandra Bullock in 2022.
“First of all, it was the cutest thing anyone has ever said to me,” she told Interview magazine.
“I think it comes from growing up in a household that was destabilized and felt unsafe and see adults be unfriendly to each other,” the Emmy-winning star replied further.
She then remembered and witnessed in her childhood “Certain things about human behavior that made me think, ‘I won’t do it. I won’t be. I don’t want to experience this feeling I have in my body right now. I don’t want anyone else that I ever come into contact with ever feeling it.’
“So I assume I have my parents to thank. You can either be angry or be a martyr or you can say ‘you have lemons? Let’s make lemonade,'” Jennifer Aniston concluded.
