Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are reportedly ready “to do what it takes” to be friends again.

Affleck and Lopez, who ended their divorce in January 2025, trying to be on better terms, as reported by Intouch.

An interior source told the outlets that since the former pairs of children with their respective partners are friends with each other, they are “agreeing” to become friends again.

Ben Affleck is the father of three children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, which he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez is the mother of twins Max and Emme Muniz, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

The source said, “Let’s realize it, Ben will never be as close to J. Lo as he is with Jennifer Garner, they do not share three children.”

“But they are both very sensitive to the fact [J. Lo’s] Twins Max and Emme are very close to Ben’s children, ”they added.

Insider continued to add that “if they can’t stand being in the same room as each other, it will make it very hard so they have agreed to do what it takes to get on better conditions.”

“Before they came back together, they were really friends and they would very much like to come back to it,” the source noted. “They are not in a place where they have to leave on common holidays with the children, but they have talked about having a nice dinner together to begin with, and then they go from there.”

Especially this comes after Ben Affleck talked about Jennifer Lopez Split for the first time.

“The truth is when you talk to someone, ‘Hi, what happened?’ Well there’s no, ‘That’s what happened.’ It’s just a story about people trying to figure out their lives and relationships in ways we all kind of normally do, ”he said GQ magazine.
