It was 1997 when Jennifer Love Hewitt first appeared in I know what you did last summer.

Now, more than two decades later, she returns to the franchise and reprise her character in the successor of I still know what you did last summer.

“When I heard it happened, I think my honest reaction was, ‘Oh my gosh. It’s great for them.’ I have never depicted them once asked me to do so, ”she said Additional.

The actress said her character will serve as a bridge for the 1990s and younger audience.

“I trust that the mothers who buy these tickets to their daughters to watch the movie are there because they remember who Julie was and they are where I am now and we carry it with pride,” she said of reboot.

“And then … their children will love all the young people in the movie, and I’m there for the mothers,” Jennifer explained.

Jennifer’s I know what you did last summer will be out on July 18th.
