Jessie J has missed the time with her two -year -old son because of his cancerous fight, and that makes the singer sad.
Jessie revealed his Bre*st -cancer diagnosis in May and got a full mastectomy in June. The Bang Bang Singer opened for the challenging time at Jamie Laing’s Great company Podcast.
“Yesterday I cried. I feel like I can’t be a mother to my son and I miss him. I feel like cancer has robbed me of my boy,” she shared.
“I’ve missed things with the treatment and things are moving so fast when you have a toddler. Some days are terrible,” she explained.
“I had moments when I was thinking ‘this will go to the left and I have to die,” Jessie admitted.
But Jessie has a positive outlook on her situation and believes her struggle will teach her something she can use to help others.
“But I enjoy strangely enjoying bad things that happen to me sometimes as it means I have to grow. I think bad things are happening to me so I can help other people who will then review it,” she said.
Before her surgery Flashlight Hitmaker became cheerful by his concert audience’s heartwarming show of support.
“I wish everyone who has ever been diagnosed with something scary could experience what I did in the summer in the summer,” she said.
“I said it was my last show before I went out to beat cancer and the whole audience broke out. It was all of them just gave me a hug,” she remembered.
“This euphoria and energy was … When I was put asleep, I repeated that moment in my head. It showed me that people just love each other. People kept outguating and saying ‘we love you’, ‘I have hit cancer twice’ and similar things,” Jessie continued.
