There was once again another Stanley Cup Playoffs Classic on Sunday night as the Winnipeg Jets are on their way to the next round after defeating St. Louis Blues on Game 7 in miraculous way.
This game needed double overtime to determine the jets as the 4-3 winners, but it was so close to blues that went out of the Canada Life Center with the road victory.
Jets emptied their nets and watched as seconds crossed the clock in the offensive zone, just hoping for a shot online to give them a chance at 3-3 slips and played in overtime.

Nikolaj Ehlers got that opportunity when the puck came to him on the blue line and he sent a rocket against the net, but he whipped on one-hour. However, the puck came right back on the road, and instead of trying another shot, he swung it over to Neal Pionk on the right wing.
Pionk quickly sent the puck against the net, and Perfetti was right there for the tip that made it past Blues Netminder Jordan Binnington when the clock hit 1.6 seconds left. It beat the buzzer and the crowd became ballist, knowing that Jets still had a chance to move on in the playoffs.
It was a game 7 moment professional athletes dream of, but it wouldn’t have meant much if they couldn’t seal the deal.

Nearly two full overtime periods went with both teams that saw the chances of chopping the golden goal.

The incredible finish came one evening after Mikko Rantan sent Dallas Stars to the next round over his former Colorado Avalanche team with a hat-trick in the third period, including the empty goal of is the victory.

However, Vladislav Namestnikov scored with just under two minutes to play in the third period, giving Winnipeg Hope before Perfetti’s Heroik saved the season.
Despite the losing efforts, Binnington made 43 savings across the nearly five full periods of work. His counterpart, Connor Hellebuyck, had 26 savings.
