Las Vegas – Jey Uso used his iherig and unmatched decision to anesthetize Gunther and win the World Cup at Tongweight Saturday on Wrestlemania 41 at Allegiant Stadium.

It is the first World Cup for the Heavy Weasure for the USO that ends Gunther’s reign of 258 days.

Uso sent Gunther with a sleeping grip in the middle of the ring. Fans who packed the stadium almost blew the lid of the place as Gunther tapped out, and Jimmy Uso celebrated with his brother in the ring.

The USO went into the ring through the crowd as cheerleaders of the Yeet Nation waved flags down the long entrance ramp against the square circle. Fans shouted “Yeet” and went with the USO as the music blared throughout the Allegiant Stadium.

Gunther was all business. When he told Pakinomist Digital from the start, he was happy to be the “party’s pooper” for the company. There was no special pyrotechnics and there was no change in his music or ringing. Gunther was as confident as ever that he would keep the world’s heavyweight title.

“Ring General” had some fans behind him when they traded “Let’s Go” sang for Austrian.

The USO was clearly the sub -dog that came into the fight that had not yet defeated Gunther. The Royal Rumble winner came back from some unfortunate defeats to enter into his claim of the championship.

While USO caught Gunther from Guard a few times to start the match, it was clear that Gunther’s Ring Presence would become a key factor throughout the match. Chops, chops and several chops turned USO down and even through the ropes and out of the ring. Gunther played to the crowd and was apparently energetic by Boos.

Gunther held the USO at the pace of the corner and gave blows to the impact of a feat of his Powerhouse style. The fight began to turn a little when the USO hit Gunther with a spear, apparently out of nowhere.

Gunther caught the USO at one point. He set him up for a quick powerbomb and pin, but USO kicked out. USO needed to dig deep to get back into the fight. A Hurricanrana, Spear and Frog Splash may have done so.

USO made the cover – one, two … no. Gunther kicked out just before the three counts. Gunther, exhausted, pulled more heat as he tried to leave with the belt. The USO tried a suicide dive as he threw the judge out of the way, but Gunther hit him with the belt.

Still, USO would not be fixed. Gunther rolled USO up in a sleeping team next. Still, the USO would not quit. He showed persistence and asked for more chops and anything else Gunther was back in him.

Gunther thought he had USO that was set up for another powerbomb, but the USO opposed. Then he hit Gunther with his own powerbomb, followed by a superkick and three seed lawns. Instead of attaching him, USO Gunther put in a sleeping team.

Gunther tapped out.
