“Jodi made a serious mistake,” Mihaly said in the video. “Jodi used two extremely dangerous substances to improve her physique – I just assume for Arnold Expo – without my knowledge, my approval, without the family’s knowledge, their approval … There is no reason why she should have been dehydrating.”

Mihaly said he had the consent of Vance’s mother, Jenny, to place the Instagram video explaining what he thought led to the serious dehydration.

“You are welcome to direct your guilt against me if that’s how you think we can best honor Jodi,” Mihaly continued in the video.

Vance recently placed in third place in the 2024 NPC stroke at Texas in Women’s Physique Division.

Vance used her fitness page to show her physical progress while also providing motivational quotes to her followers.
