Cincinnati Bengals entered last season with high expectations.
After missing the mail season, the Bengals front office spent part of offseasons to make sure quarterback Joe Burrow had plenty of weapons available. About two months after re-signing Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, the Bengals Plan was revealed.
Burrow said he was disappointed with his team’s schedule.

The NFL released its full schedule for regular season for all 32 teams last Wednesday.
While the NFL’s international slate contains the league’s first ever seasonal match in Spain, the Bengals do not travel abroad in 2025-much to Burrow’s rejection.

The two-time Pro Bowl-Quarterback said he would have an opportunity to play on the international stage this coming season.
“Not having such a scene is a little disappointing. I feel like I’ve consciously worked hard to try to grow the game internationally for the past 18 months or so,” said Burrow. “Hopefully at some point in my career we can go over there.”

Signal Caller also highlighted one of the three planned Thanksgiving games. The Bengals will be in Baltimore that night for a game against the Ravens.
The competition marks the fourth year in a row that Bengals has competed in a night game at night against their AFC North Divisional rival. “Playing in Baltimore for the fourth straight year in primetime is not ideal,” Burrow added. “Maybe we can get one of them in Cincinnati. Please.”

NFL owners have unanimously approved players to participate in flag football for the 2028 Olympics.
Voting at the Spring Meetings in Minnesota approved the league on Tuesday to negotiate security regulations and planning logistics with the NFL Players Association, the sport’s international management body and the relevant Olympic authorities before it becomes reality over the next summer matches in Los Angeles.
Burrow expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to compete in the Olympics: “It’s an exciting opportunity. I’m not quite sure how it would work with training camp and all our commitments here,” Burrow said. “But that’s something I would like to do with certainty.”
The Bengals went 9-8 last season. Cincinnati opens the 2025 season on the road to Cleveland Browns on September 7th.
