Former NFL star Joe Theismann enters the American century championship in 2025 as one of the veterans of the celebrity golf tournament.

Although former Washington Redskin-Quarterback has only won the Korbel Hole-in-one competition at Edgewood Tahe Golf Club, he told Pakinomist digital that he is as excited as ever to be part of the tournament again this year.

“I’ve played in 35 of 36 (tournaments),” he said. “I definitely circl those days. The American Championship for century has been incredible in terms of competition, the people you get a chance to be in.”

He said he was talking to Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen about his season 2023 last year and was delighted to talk to actor Miles Teller.

“‘Top Gun: Maverick’ is one of my favorite movies in the world. So I had a chance to see him last year. I was like a little kid,” he said with a laugh. “He was in the field and hit balls. I wouldn’t bother him, but I would say hi.”

Theismann was not embarrassed to admit he was a bit of a “fanboy” when it came to Teller.

“I’m not embarrassed,” he told Pakinomist Digital. “There are certain people that I have met. I have been blessed to meet people, whether they are heads of state, heads of countries, many presidents, CEOs, some of the most incredible people in the world I have had a chance to meet and just to be able to continue to see people and see them and really learn how they are what makes them cross.
