John Cena Gyste Over his Super Heller in Pacemaker.
In a recent chat with People for his week’s cover story, Cena opened, known for over 20 years as a powerful “Superman” figure in the WWE ring, for his role in the HBO Max series that it has helped him explore a new side of himself.
“This has changed my life,” he said of playing the title character. “It’s a great show that is more than just action. It’s a love story. It’s a comedy at work.”
He shared his deep connection to his team in the series, he noted. “We know we are the long shots. The scene at the end of season 1 where they send the right heroes to save the day and we have already saved the day and we get the hero to go, but we have to pass the heroes to get all the advertisement and we are like ‘f *** you, guys,’ it’s us. ‘
“It’s the 11th Street children. We are the long shots, the lovable losers,” Cena added.
It is relevant to mention that Cena’s role, Peacemaker, appeared in 2021 -hitfilm Suicide Squad, which a year later became his own spinoff series a year later of HBO MAX.
