Johnny Depp would never be famous.
The 62-year-old actor, one of the best names of Hollywood in the past four decades, just revealed that “comfortable” people were never part of his life plans.
He told me Sunday Times“Well, fame is the last thing I’ve ever chased.”
“If you look at the 9,000 years that I have done this, it’s pretty clear that I didn’t ever think how I could be more famous, get a hit or please the press. In addition, Depp, who grew up with three other siblings and saw his parents, admitted when he was a teenager that “the dynamics changed” when his siblings got married and he found himself “stepping in and out” to balance family life.
“My brother had his problems with the parents,” Pirates of the Caribbean Actor remembered and added, “There were many episodes of conflict – he and my dad wanted to do it – and Debbie also had her problems with them.”
“Then Danny got married. Soon Debbie married himself, so it was only me and Christi. Then Christi got married, so it was only me. And dynamics changed. It was almost as if I was used to conflict. It wasn’t abnormal. I did my best to just go in and out,” Johnny Depp concluded.
